Handheld game consoles have been a thing in the 1990’ties, especially – bot not exclusively – in Japan: Bandai’s Wonderswan handheld console was released only in Japan and like the Gameboy it was first release in two colors and was a few years later released with a color screen.

Because just using one AA- battery /also recharging versions, the handheld was pretty light.
